ZyXEL ES-2024A Managed Layer 2 Fast Ethernet Switch is a high performance edge connectivity solution for SMB and campus networks. Based on non-blocking 8.8 Gbps switching architecture, the ES-2024A provides 24-port 10/100Mbps Layer 2 switching capability at wire-speed over existing CAT-5 cabling to desktops. Its two dual-personality interfaces (RJ-45 or SFP) deliver Gigabit connectivity to long-loop reach and high-bandwidth applications.

ZyXEL ES-2024A features wide range security functions to prevent unauthorized data access. Supported 802.1x authentications restricts unauthorized users from legitimate user data and administrative traffic.

ZyXEL's ES-2024A supports 802.1w RSTP protocol to enable faster recovery from failed links and helps form a resilient link, which greatly improves uptime and network availability.
