The CAD 40117 Desk Stand Microphone with Push to Talk Switch and LED features a push button that is large enough to find even in the dark, so you can quickly mute the microphone or start it when you're ready to speak. But if you'd rather not work in the dark, this model also features a handy LED light.
The 40117 is designed to work specifically with the 800 or 900 Astatic mini-gooseneck microphones, but it works with multiple microphones that feature an XLR connection. The 3-pin XLR female connection is located on top of the stand, making it literally a snap to directly input your microphone.
The rugged 7', four conductor, two shielded cable terminates with a 3-pin male XLR connection.
For added convenience, CAD has also included a special energy absorbing bottom which reduces environmental resonance.
