  • Circuits 1–28 can supply 60mA span power over DSX-1 facilities to remote DS1 NIUs
  • Circuits 26–28 can alternately supply power protection for up to three DS3 NIU enclosures (one each):
      Auto-detect and switch DS1 Span/DS3 Power modes
    • Supplies a nominal –48V at up to 300mA, to up to three DS3V NIU enclosures
    • Circuits 1–25 can still support DS1 loads
  • Hot-swap capability
