The ATLAS 800 Series Quad RS-449/V.36 Universal Synchronous Serial Interface (USSI) Module combines with other ATLAS components to provide solutions for a variety of wide area networking applications.

• Provides four RS-449/V.36 synchronous serial ports
• Each module supports one interface type on all four ports
• Each port supports Nx56/64 Kbps operation up to 2.048 Mbps
• Supports Frame Relay emulation and passthrough when used in ATLAS 830 and ATLAS 890 chassis
• Includes adapter cables for DB-37, DB-25, or DB-15 depending on interface type
