Arecont are an American manufacturer of high resolution HD megapixel cameras who specialize in providing high performance surveillance cameras. This camera is the AV2100DN which delivers a maximum 2 megapixel resolution giving an image size of 1600x1200 pixels at 24 frames per second.
 
The Arecont AV2100DN is a true day/night camera with removable infrared cut filter. This allows the camera to deliver true color images during the day and automatically switch to an infrared black and white mode at night and in periods of low light giving 24 hour recording in all lighting conditions.
 
This IP camera is also easy to install using Power over Ethernet (PoE). Simply run a cable from a compatible PoE switch or midspan to the camera to provide both the power and data connections to the camera. Like all IP cameras offered by Network Webcams, the Arecont AV2100DN has a built-in web server and can be viewed over a Local Area Network (LAN), Wide Area Network (WAN) or via the Internet as a streaming IP webcam.
