The Standard Platform is the workhorse of the Voice4net server family. This platform has been in production for over a decade and is still running strong. It is a 4U rack mountable (shelf mounted) server that is just over 17" deep. It is best mounted using a rack shelf. It can then be secured to a 2-post or 4-post configuration on the shelf.

When not to use…
If the IVR server is mission critical and requires redundancy and heavy database integration then move to the Premium Platform. This server does not support RAID, dual power, or dual CPU and is only used for basic IVR applications. Although this system may be configured to connect to the PSTN, it is usually installed behind a PBX system and set up as a hunt group, thereby allowing some backup functionality from the PBX.
